Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez is a television arbitrator from Cuba in the shows Caso Cerrado and Ana Polo Rules. Ana is a child born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father when she was 2 years old, relocated to Miami and joined the family. Ana Maria Polo, a resident of Habana Cuba is host of the renowned Telemundo show "Caso CerradoThe first Spanish program to be nominated for an Emmy award for the daytime entertainment category. It was named in 2015 as the top Spanish-language television program on the time slot of 4 PM for all demos. Polo was born in Havana in 1959. After graduating at Florida International University's political science program, she relocated to Havana and lived there for 20 years. Following her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Following her PhD from University of Miami in law and working in the law profession for 20 years, she returned to Miami city for over 20 years. Polo appeared for the first time on the screen in 2001 when she was part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. Her legal expertise was also employed for other court-related programs. Literary Works and Accolades in 1958 she published the story Los Hijos Muertos (The dead children) and was awarded the Critic's Award and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute fled Spain to her home in the United States 1960. She is a breast cancer survivor. Polo frequently gives speeches and helps raise funds to support the charity. She has been a tireless activist for LGBT rights all of her life. She received her law degree in 1987 at the University of Miami School of Law.
